Charlie's Dial-In Guide

Quick Reference

Dose 17g
Yield ~40g
Time ~28–30 seconds
Grind Same starting point as Singular. Reset your grind and fine-tune from there.
Tip: This coffee was built for milk. Try it as espresso first to taste the difference, then add milk and see why it made the top 4.

Charlie's Tasting Notes:

As espresso: Dark chocolate and dried fruit. Really juicy aroma. Well balanced with sweetness and a bit more body than Singular or Wolf. Nice slow, steady pour with a great colour in the crema.

With milk: Malt and milk chocolate upfront, similar to the others, but with an almond character and a subtle dried apricot sweetness underneath. It won't overtake the cup, but it adds something the other coffees don't have. Sits somewhere between Singular and Wolf in profile but with its own thing going on.
