It's roasted somewhere in WA right now, and it mostly never leaves the suburb it's made in. That's why we started Perth Coffee Exchange in 2018 with six local roasters. Today it's 25+ roasters and 75+ coffees, and our team tastes and rates every one before it can go in a box. This year, thousands of WA home baristas voted for their favourites. These four won.

Questions, answered

What if my shots don't match Charlie's recipes?

Totally normal. Machines differ and beans change. The recipes are a starting point and the videos show you how to adjust. Stuck? Message us.

How fresh is the coffee?

Roasted to order by WA roasters and shipped within 48 hours. What arrives was usually roasted within the week.

Will the recipes work on my machine?

They're built for home espresso setups: Breville, Sunbeam, DeLonghi and similar. Something different? Message us and we'll help you adapt.

I don't have a grinder. Can I still order?

Yes. Choose pre-ground at checkout and we'll grind for your brew method.

What if I don't like one of the coffees?

Is this a subscription?

No. One box, one charge. Subscribe later if you love it, no pressure.

Do I need a scale?

Ideally, yes. A scale turns guessing into knowing: 18g in, 36g out, exact every time. We stock a good one.

Do you ship Australia-wide?

Yes. Perth metro usually 2 to 3 days, interstate 3 to 5.
