Q: I usually drink pods or supermarket coffee. Will this be too intense?
A: Not at all. We choose approachable coffees that work well for everyday home drinkers, including milk-based coffees. The goal is to help you discover better coffee without making it complicated.

Q: Will this work with my Breville, bean-to-cup, plunger, or filter setup?
A: Yes. Choose whole beans or ground coffee, then tell us how you brew. We’ll match your box to suit your setup as best we can. Please note: we do not offer pods.

Q: What if I don’t like one of the coffees?
A: That can happen — taste is personal. The box is designed to help you work out what you like, not force every coffee to be your favourite. If something feels way off, get in touch and we’ll help guide your next choice.

Q: Is this coffee-snob stuff?
A: No. We keep it simple. You don’t need to know tasting jargon or brew theory. We’ll help you discover coffees that taste good at home and suit the way you actually drink coffee.

Q: How fresh is the coffee?
A: Your coffee is freshly roasted and shipped within 20 days of roasting, while it’s in a great window for drinking. That freshness is one of the biggest reasons it tastes so much better than supermarket coffee.

Q: Can I choose what I get?
A: Not the exact bags. You choose your style, such as smoother or stronger, and we curate the coffees from there. The surprise is part of how you discover new favourites — without having to sort through every option yourself.

Q: Whole beans or ground?
A: Your choice. Whole beans are best if you have a grinder. Ground coffee is fine if you tell us how you brew, so we can grind it to suit your setup.

Q: Is this a subscription?
A: That’s up to you. Every coffee on PCX is available as a one-off purchase. If you’d prefer the convenience of never running out, you can also choose a flexible subscription that you can pause, skip, swap, or cancel at any time.
