Got this in a mystery bag and was pleasantly surprised. The flavor is really nice — not bitter and not too light, just a good balanced coffee. It has a creamy texture, and I found it even better with milk where it tastes smoother and more enjoyable.

Time: 28 to 32 seconds, timed from the first drop

Where does this sit for strength?

This sits toward the stronger end of our range. Plenty of body, and it holds its own in a flat white or latte.

How fresh is this coffee?

Our roasters roast fresh for us in small batches, and we usually dispatch within 1 to 2 business days. Coffee actually improves for the first week or so after roasting, then holds well sealed. The roast date is on the bag.

What if I don't like it?

Tell us what didn't work and we'll help you find something closer to your taste. Full policy in our help centre.

Will this work with my machine?

Yes. If you're pulling espresso, the Starting Point above gives you a dose, yield and shot time to begin from. Every machine and grinder is a little different, so expect to adjust from there.
