What are the Home Coffee Awards?
Our awards launched in 2020 are a tribute to the dedicated local coffee roasters in Perth who masterfully craft the beans that fuels your daily ritual.
The awards initially leveraged customer feedback and sales data to determine the winners.
Fast forward to 2024 and we are ramping up our Brew Buddies program alongside the development of our Voting Power Scale which is set to revolutionise the way winners are chosen and how you find coffee beans for your home.
As a community-powered accolade, we invite you to immerse yourself in the journey of discovery and vote for your favourite roasts throughout the year.

How Does it Work?
As a valued member of our coffee community, you have the chance to not only savour the best coffees but also crown the winners.
Throughout the year leave a rating/review on coffees that you have purchased and enjoyed through Perth Coffee Exchange.
People's Choice Vote:
At the end of the year you place your People Choice Vote for your Top 3 favourite coffees.
1st Place = 5 points, 2nd place = 3 points and 3rd place = 1 point. At the end of the Year place your People’s Choice Vote for your Top 3 Coffees.
But wait, there's a twist! The more coffees you rate and review throughout the year, the stronger your vote becomes. It's time to have fun with your coffee experience and make your voice heard.

- Rate 1 coffee in 2024: Your vote is worth 1X.
- Rate 2-5 coffees: Your vote is worth 2X.
- Rate 6-18 coffees: Your vote is worth 3X.
- Rate 19-29 coffees: Your vote is worth 4X.
- Rate 30+ coffees: Your vote is worth a whopping 5X!
