We asked our favourite local roasters to pick their best coffee for autumn.
They didn't agree on much..!
Artem went Papua New Guinea: milk chocolate, honeycomb, a clean red apple finish.
GPNT blended PNG with Ethiopia: chocolate and malt up front, a quiet orange rind at the finish.
Pique went full natural process: milk chocolate into berry into caramel, a cup that makes stopping feel like a bad decision.
Singular found a family farm in Ethiopia's Guji region: 26 days on raised drying beds at 2200 metres, and let the fruit do the talking.
Four roasters couldn't agree. You get to decide who was right.
Autumn coffee is about comfort with a bit of depth. These four are exactly that, sweet, rounded and easy to sink into.
