Now, about those picks.

Every year, 10,000+ PCX customers vote with the thing that matters most: their repeat orders. What they keep buying. What they gift to friends. What they reach for on the mornings that count.

These four coffees beat out hundreds of others to claim the top spots in 2026. No algorithms. No marketing spin. Just real people, real cups, real votes.

What's in the box

🥇 Singular Exclusive PCX Blend

1st Place | Medium-Dark Roast | Brown Sugar, Caramel & Chocolate

The blend that beat the single origins.

Brazilian and PNG, nailed the fundamentals so hard it didn't need to get exotic. Works in every brew method you throw at it. Cup after cup, customer after customer, it dominated.

🥈 The Wolf Cartel

2nd Place | Medium Roast | Cacao & Praline with Malt & Biscotti Notes

The café blend that beat the hobbyist roasts.

Built for a café menu: 200 cups a day, all day, under pressure. Then our home brewers got their hands on it and voted it to second place. Turns out what performs in a busy café performs pretty well in your kitchen too.

🥉 Backyard Dreamer

3rd Place | Medium-Dark Roast | Chocolate Mousse & Caramel

The satisfaction vote.

Rich chocolate mousse. Buttery caramel. Zero apologies. This coffee doesn't do subtlety, it does satisfaction. Third place overall, first choice for mornings when you just need coffee to taste like coffee.

🎖️ Ramble On

4th Place | Medium Roast | Milk Chocolate, Berries & Caramel

The reorder champion.

Naturally processed Ethiopian that walks the line between comfort and complexity. Fourth place in voting, first in reorders. Milk chocolate anchors it. Berry brightness lifts it. Then you brew another cup. Then another.

Four proven winners. Free coffee on top.

This is as close to a sure thing as coffee gets.

Four roasters, one box.

Most coffee boxes and subscriptions come from a single roastery. PCX curates across 25+ Perth roasters, so one order compares the city's best side by side, roasted fresh, delivered once.

A starting point for every coffee in this box

Dialled in on a Breville Barista Express

Dose
17.5g of fresh grounds in the basket
Yield
40g of espresso in the cup
Time
25 to 32 seconds, timed from the first drop
Grind
Fine, like caster sugar. Bitter and slow? Go a touch coarser. Sour and fast? A touch finer.

Tip: Start here. Not quite right? Change one thing — usually the grind — and tomorrow's cup is better. Today's is still fresh coffee.

Questions about this coffee

Where does this sit for strength?
Every coffee we list sits somewhere on a range from gentle to punchy. Check the roast level above, or ask us and we'll place it for you.
How fresh is this coffee?
Our roasters roast fresh for us in small batches, and we usually dispatch within 1 to 2 business days. Coffee actually improves for the first week or so after roasting, then holds well sealed. The roast date is on the bag.
What if I don't like it?
Tell us what didn't work and we'll help you find something closer to your taste. Full policy in our help centre.
Will this work with my machine?
Yes. If you're pulling espresso, the Starting Point above gives you a dose, yield and shot time to begin from. Every machine and grinder is a little different, so expect to adjust from there.
