Long Black Tasting Box

Four coffees built for the purist's favourite cup at PCX.

Why a long black box?

The flat white might be the crowd favourite around here, but plenty of our customers reach for the long black when they want to hear the coffee speak for itself.

Hot water, a double shot of espresso, crema intact. Nothing in the cup but the coffee.

Which means the coffee has to carry the whole cup on its own.

After years of cupping hundreds of roasts, we've learned which ones thrive when you lengthen them with water, and which ones need a bit of milk to come alive.

A great long black isn't forgiving. It reveals exactly what the bean is made of.

These four stand up to that. Beautifully.

Medium roast with brown sugar warmth and candied red fruit. A Peruvian Bourbon from the Andean highlands. Lively, sweet, and syrupy in body.

Best way to experience new coffee

We were fed up buying bad coffee beans from the supermarket and didn’t have time to go to the farmers market of roasters too often.
