Established in 2018, Offshoot maintains the philosophy, ‘to source some of the most exclusive and unique coffee beans, and roast them with great attention to detail.’ Offshoot takes pride in maintaining a passion for the flavour experience which starts with the producer and travels all the way to the customer - It is all about the relationships built in the process!

What makes Offshoot different?

The primary goal of Offshoot is to produce consistent and clean results in its coffee roasting process. This is achieved through using the Loring S15 Falcon Smart Roaster. This roasting process uses hot air as a form of heat transfer as opposed to more traditional methods which typically use fossil fuels or electricity. Using the hot air technology allows this energy to be recycled which reduces CO2 emissions by 80%!

Not only does Offshoot focus on sustainability but has also altered the typical male dominant field to incorporate a dominance of female roasters at their facility! Offshoot celebrates a range of contemporary values whilst taking customers on an exciting flavour journey.

The Coffee Bean Selection

Supplying a broad selection of coffee beans, there is no shortage in flavour experiences! Offerings include some single origin coffee beans such as the fruity Ethiopian Aricha, flavoursome El Liquidambar, and the more exclusive Gicumbi. Offshoot also explores the bold yet creamy and smooth taste of its Workhorse blend - cacao and caramel notes yum!

Furthermore, there is much variety served by Offshoot with its Decaf Popayan roast and the filter coffee, Jesus Garcia.

Offshoot is consistently working on new projects and developing their selection of beans with prospects of supplying customers with more exclusive and higher end coffees.
