About this coffee

Bright, clean Tarrazú for people who don't need milk to round it out.

Medium Roast | Almond, Grapefruit & Lemon

A washed Catuai and Caturra from the high slopes of Tarrazú, dense-grown and classified Strictly Hard Bean. It keeps a sharp citrus edge, clean and structured, with just enough nuttiness on the finish to stop it feeling thin.

It holds bright and clear black and keeps its citrus over ice, which is where it is happiest. Milk blunts it, so this is one for black or filter drinkers.

The roaster

Artem Coffee

Mount Pleasant

Artem started with a trip to the coffee farms of Kona, Hawaii, and a second-hand roaster in a Perth garage.

Founders Darren and Tracey now run one of Perth's most precise roasting operations, with a Mount Pleasant café as loved for its smoked meat sandwiches as its coffee.

If you take it black and like a citrus edge over a chocolate one, El Tigre is the pick. Clean, sharp and structured, exactly what Tarrazú does well.
