About this coffee

The blend Wolf pull for every flat white in their own cafés.

Medium Roast | Cacao, Praline, Malt & Biscotti

A 70/30 blend of naturally processed Brazilian Mogiana and washed Colombian Popayan, built specifically for milk drinks.

The Brazilian side brings cacao and praline sweetness, the Colombian keeps it clean and balanced, and malt and biscotti round it out. Voted second in our 2026 Home Coffee Awards.

Made for flat whites, lattes and piccolos: it comes through the milk without shouting over it. Smooth and forgiving to dial in.

“This brand is new to me and I was excited to try it! Not very bitter at all, very fragrant and makes the perfect flat white coffee to just sip on while watching a movie.”

The Wolf Espresso

Perth CBD

The Wolf Espresso started as a tiny laneway shop in the city, and owner Rani still roasts every batch himself each Monday.

When your coffee comes from one person's hands, you can taste the care.

The Wolf Cartel is a medium roast that delivers a smooth and creamy cup with low bitterness and low acidity.

Dose
17.5g of fresh grounds in the basket
Yield
40g of espresso in the cup
Time
25 to 32 seconds, timed from the first drop
Grind
Fine, like caster sugar. Bitter and slow? Go a touch coarser. Sour and fast? A touch finer.

Tip: Start here. Not quite right? Change one thing — usually the grind — and tomorrow's cup is better. Today's is still fresh coffee.

Questions about this coffee

Where does this sit for strength?
Every coffee we list sits somewhere on a range from gentle to punchy. Check the roast level above, or ask us and we'll place it for you.
How fresh is this coffee?
Our roasters roast fresh for us in small batches, and we usually dispatch within 1 to 2 business days. Coffee actually improves for the first week or so after roasting, then holds well sealed. The roast date is on the bag.
What if I don't like it?
Tell us what didn't work and we'll help you find something closer to your taste. Full policy in our help centre.
Will this work with my machine?
Yes. If you're pulling espresso, the Starting Point above gives you a dose, yield and shot time to begin from. Every machine and grinder is a little different, so expect to adjust from there.
